Why didn't I try this sooner?

I just wrapped up a week-long stay and it felt like home! The Queen Room was cozy, and every morning, breakfast was a treat with delicious hot options. Plus, the nearby restaurant for tacos was a fantastic recommendation from the friendly staff. Honestly, I can't believe I didn't discover this gem earlier!

Request a room on a higher floor to minimize noise from the interstate. it made our stay much more pleasant.

Clean sheets could be a plus!

Spent a night here with family. Location was solid, but the room had a funky smell and the A/C didn’t really cool down. We booked a Queen room and found it pretty basic—nothing special. The dining area was nice, tho! Overall, not sure I’d come back, especially if I’m paying over $100 for a not-so-great stay.

The complimentary breakfast offered a decent selection, making for an enjoyable start to each day. The location was fantastic, close to all attractions we planned to visit. However, the room had some issues, including outdated carpets and a stained shower floor, which detracted from the overall experience. Service was hit or miss, with some staff being helpful but others lacking responsiveness. A notable downside was the absence of an elevator, making it inconvenient for carrying luggage.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds offered a comfortable stay, with cozy bedding that helped ensure a good night’s sleep after a long day. The business center right in the lobby included well-functioning computers and printers, which turned out to be a lifesaver for quick document needs.

Unfortunately, there were several minor annoyances during my stay. The lack of an elevator meant the ground floor was the only option, which isn’t ideal for everyone. Dust accumulation around the fridge was noticeable and suggested a lack of thorough cleaning. It was frustrating that the pool, which was advertised as heated, turned out not to be, impacting my plans significantly. Lastly, the rooms felt like they needed a good scrub and some freshening up to really shine.

Waking up to warm eggs and bacon was bliss. The crew at the desk was super helpful, directing us to local taco gems. Breakfast was a daily treat!

Unfortunately, the pool was cold, and we learned it wasn't heated as promised. The room also needed a thorough clean—dust bunnies were hanging around.

I found the hotel to be perfectly situated with easy access to nearby parks like Rio Vista Park and Sewell Park, making my weekend walks delightful. Everything I wanted to see, including the charming Hays County Historic Courthouse and the San Marcos Discovery Center, was just a short stroll away.

The room was nice and smelled great. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast selections! The outdoor pool was a perfect spot to relax after a long day. While there were some areas that looked a bit dated, it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful stay! 🌞
